Founded in 2002, Appomattox River Peanut & Wine Company is a family-owned business and the only peanut processor in the Hopewell area. For over a decade, we’ve offered more than 30 unique gourmet peanut flavors, along with fine wines and Virginia-made goods that celebrate our region’s flavor.

Where It All Started

A walk along the historic Appomattox River inspired owner Randy Sealey to create a peanut that stood above the rest. With one small cooker and a big idea, he perfected a roasting method that brings out the bold, natural taste of Virginia peanuts.
